Plains to Appalachians Snow Event

Update 2pm 12/11/2020: ECWMF latest run showed what I was concerned about with snow into the cities. While more snow then I thought it does illustrate the potential for more snow with this pattern.

Noon 12/11/2020 – Yet another storm will come out of the Rockies and into the southern Plains Sunday into Sunday Night. Light to moderate snows will develop across the Southern Plains then dwindle out heading into the Tennessee Valley. The higher elevations of the Appalachians will see snow Monday morning and it’s not out of the question that Cat 2 type snows develop. I can even see snow into Philly and NYC if the storm comes north and can tap some of the cold air available. In the Plains, the snow will cause icy travel conditions Sunday into Sunday night.
